Fully funded Relationships and Sex Education opportunity for secondary schools
21 May 2026
Brook has received funding from the Youth Endowment Fund to run a trial evaluating approaches to preventing dating and relationship violence. Secondary schools in Greater London are invited to take part in the London Sexual Violence Programme (LSVP) — a new, light-touch Year 9 intervention delivered by Brook specialists and independently evaluated through a randomised controlled trial.
The programme includes four 50-to-60-minute sessions for Year 9 pupils, plus a two-hour staff training session. It supports the 2026 RSE curriculum and covers key topics including healthy relationships, consent, online consent, sexual harassment, and responding safely to disclosures.
Participating schools will receive:
- Free participation and financial compensation
- A bespoke feedback report on pupils’ attitudes, knowledge and help-seeking
- Support to strengthen RSE provision
Schools may either deliver LSVP during 2026/27 or continue with usual practice as part of the trial.
