The Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill received Royal Assent and has become the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Act 2026. Clause 53 of the act will make changes to the Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and statutory induction requirements in primary and secondary academies from 1 September 2027.
