Learning and Inclusion Service

The purpose of the Learning & Inclusion Service is to provide strategic leadership and specialist support to help ensure that every child and young person in Waltham Forest is safe, included, engaged in learning and able to achieve their full potential. Working alongside schools, early years settings, families and partners, we lead services focused on attendance, inclusion, early intervention, SEND support, neurodiversity, elective home education, reintegration and alternative provision. Together, we promote a culture of belonging, strengthen inclusive practice and enable children and young people to access the right support at the right time.

Our services include:

  • Attendance and Children Out of School
  • Early Learning & Inclusion
  • Inclusion & Reintegration
  • Specialist Teacher Support for SEND
  • Inclusion Panel
  • Neurodiversity and Specialist Support
  • Elective Home Education (EHE)
  • Governor Services
  • Waltham Forest Music Service

These services work collaboratively with schools and partners to improve outcomes, remove barriers to learning and ensure that children and young people receive the support they need to thrive.
