Neurodiversity and Specialist Support Team (NSS)

The Neurodiversity and Specialist Support Team works in partnership with schools, families, and multi-agency professionals to promote inclusive practice, build capacity within educational settings, and improve outcomes for children and young people with neurodiverse profiles and additional needs.

The team aim to ensure that children and young people can access high-quality, inclusive education within their local community, with schools equipped to identify, understand, and meet a broad range of needs at the earliest opportunity. By working closely with schools, families, health professionals, SEND services, and other partners, the team delivers joined-up support that enables CYP to achieve positive educational, social, and emotional outcomes.
