The purpose of the Education Operations & Performance Service is to provide an efficient and effective business operations and payment services that maximises the impact and outcomes of Education Services delivered by the Local Authority and other stakeholders and ensures every family and every child are given every opportunity to thrive.
Through strategic planning, effective operational delivery, and strong partnerships with schools and providers and wider partners, the service is responsible for delivering a range of services that support the smooth running of the local education system. Together, these services help ensure that educational provision is accessible, sustainable, compliant, operates effectively, delivers the best possible outcomes and is responsive to the needs of Waltham Forest’s children, young people and families.
