Due to the hot weather the following schools have adjusted their times:

• Chapel End Infant School and Early Years Centre have offered parents the optional 1.30pm pick OR keep children at home on Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June.
• Chingford Church of England Infant school will be closed all day on Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June
• Low Hall Nursery will be closed until Monday 29th June. 

Primary Schools

• Barclay Primary School will close at 1.30pm on Tuesday 23rd June, Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June
• Coppermill Primary school will close at 1.30pm from Wednesday 24th June to Friday 26th June
• Edinburgh Primary School will offer families an optional early collection from 1.30pm on Friday 26th June
• Gwyn Jones Primary school will close at 12.30pm for children in Y2, 3 and 4 on Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June.
• Hawkswood Primary school will close at 1pm on Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June
• Our Lady and St George's Catholic Primary will close at 12.30pm for pupils on Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June. Childcare will finish at 4.30pm.
• Parkside Primary School will close at 1.30pm on Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and likely on Friday 26th June
• St. Mary's Church of England Primary School will close at 1pm on Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June.
• St Joseph's Infant School will close at 12.45pm on Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June.
• Stoneydown Park Primary school will close at lunchtime on Friday 26th June.
• Sybourn Primary School will close at 1.30pm on Tuesday 23rd June, Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June
• Thomas Gamuel Primary School will close at 1.30pm on Tuesday 23rd June, Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June.
• Whittingham Primary Academy have provided an optional early collection time of 1.30pm to parents on Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June. 

Secondary Schools

• Buxton School will close all day on Friday 26th June
• Connaught School for Girls will close at 1.30pm on Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June
• Hawkswood Secondary School will operate from 9am to 12pm on Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June
• Highams Park School will close at 12.20pm on Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June.
• Holy Family School will close on Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June. (A vulnerable provision will run from 8.40am to 12pm)
• Kelmscott School will close at 12.40pm on Tuesday 23rd June, Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June
• Frederick Bremer School will be closed on Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June
• The Lammas School will close at 12.20pm on Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June.
• Walthamstow School For Girls will close at 12.30pm on Wednesday 24th June, Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June
• Willowfield School will close at 12pm on Friday 26th June

Alternative Provisions

• North Birkbeck School will operate from 9am to 12pm on Wednesday 24th June to Friday 26th June

Opossum Trust

•  Oakhill Primary, Thorpe Hall, Dawlish, Newport will remain until the normal dismissal time. Parents have been given the option to collect their children from 1.30pm on Tuesday 23rd June until Friday 26th June.

Special School

• Whitefield school will close to pupils at 1pm on Thursday 25th June and Friday 26th June.
