North London Waste Authority is inviting Year 9 students from north London schools to apply for participation in the North London Student Sustainability Conference (NLSSC) on  Monday 19 November 2026 at EcoPark House, Edmonton. Selected schools will be invited to participate in the NLSSC to devise and develop an action plan that creates a low-waste north London.

The Conference will feature debates, presentations, and speeches from our guest speakers. There will also be a Q&A session with one of our guest speakers. As part of the Conference, participants can win awards, and the best team will be awarded a £1000 grant towards a circular economy project at their school.

How to apply?

To apply, students will be asked to complete a project proposal presentation to show how they would spend the £1,000 grant on a circular economy project in their school. Teachers will be required to submit this with the NLSSC 2026 Application Form.
