Empowering young people to shape the Waltham Forest Housing Strategy

Give your students the chance to have their say on the future of housing Waltham Forest

The London Borough of Waltham Forest is developing a new Housing Strategy. It will set out how the Council and its partners can work together to tackle the housing challenges facing our community.

To inform the strategy, it is vital we hear what it means to be a young person living in Waltham Forest to understand what aspirations they have for their future home and their community.

We’re asking local secondary schools if we can work with you to give your students a role in shaping the housing strategy. We can design an engagement activity to meet your school’s needs.  This could be a small group discussion or a full class activity. We’ll work with you to make sure the engagement works for you.
