A message from Waltham Forest Council

A Waltham Forest institution has recently come to an end and Waltham Forest Council wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved with it over the years.

The Sir George Monoux Exhibition Foundation Fund was set up in the 1960s to help some of our brightest, yet most in need younger adults from across the borough.

In the last ten years it is estimated that around £80,000 has been awarded to students to help with things like travel expenses, books and equipment.

The thank you extends to trustees of the fund over the years for their time and hard work to support young people across Waltham Forest with their education.
