This summer Waltham Forest council will be running a range of free family activities across the borough between Monday 24 July – Friday 25 August 2023.

Sessions will run from 10am to 12:30pm daily across the following sites:

• George Tomlinson Primary School, Harrington Road, E11 4QN
• Henry Maynard Primary School, Addison Road Entrance, E17 9JE
• Chapel End Infants School, Roberts Road, E17 4LN
• Whitehall Primary School, 90 Normanton Park, E4 6ES

All sessions are led by Waltham Forest play workers, with specialist workshops provided by professionals from a variety of local organisations including circus skills, face painting, slime workshops, storytelling, laser tag, multi-sports and many more.

Activities that are provided throughout these sessions are suitable and designed for children aged 5 to 11.  Children aged 5 to 7 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the sessions. Children aged 8 to 11 may attend the session independently, however a parent, guardian or care must attend the first sessions to complete the relevant paperwork. 

Family sessions are limited to 60 children per session and will be offered on a first come first serve basis. No booking required.
