Free food and nutrition professional development programme

The Teaching Primary Food and Nutrition (TPFN) professional development programme is designed to support high quality food and nutrition teaching in UK primary schools.

How does it work?

  1. Primary school teachers, trainees and teaching assistants are invited to register, and complete a short audit of their competence and confidence around food and nutrition teaching.
  2. The first 1,500 registrants will then receive a free professional portfolio (binder and booklet) to help them plan, implement and evidence their learning journey.
  3. Regular updates about free online webinars and workshops will be sent to registrants to help them fulfil their profession development plans.

The TPFN programme is the perfect way to access flexible and cost-free CPD around food and nutrition teaching.  Register now or watch a short introductory video to learn more!
