The Department for Education (DfE) released a non-statutory draft guidance  for schools regarding 'gender-questioning children'. A 12-week public consultation period on the guidance is currently being held, with the deadline of Tuesday 12 March 2023, which means further changes could be made to the document before it is finalised. This draft is a key step towards ensuring that schools are equipped to make evidence-based decisions in the best interests of all pupils.
