This group works in partnership with headteacher representatives to ensure the information and data gathered by LA services is appropriately shared, so schools receive prompt support through the local system-led improvement channels.   

The core functions of the SIG include:

• Reviewing school performance
• Reviewing factors that may impact on school performance 
• Considering support or intervention that may be needed – including potential school support partners.
