A Reading Framework for Waltham Forest Schools – How to improve reading skills for low attaining students in all schools

This session sets out a framework to improve the reading skills of low attaining students in all primary schools, in particular students who are at risk of persistent literacy challenges. All attendees will walk away with a copy of a proposed guidance Reading Framework for schools and a copy of an assessment tool called the ‘The Reading Accuracy and Fluency Assessment’ as well as an understanding of strategies to improve the outcomes of low attaining’ students
