Waltham Forest Outbreak Control Plan

Waltham Forest's top priority is preventing COVID-19. We will be working with local partners and diverse communities to ensure all residents, organisations and businesses have the information they need to take responsible action to protect their health and our most vulnerable residents. 

The council have devised a guidance document on the Local Outbreak Control Plan and a Powerpoint Presentation which sets out the overview of the Waltham Forest Local Outbreak Control Plan.

The plan includes guidance and information on:

  • planning for local outbreaks in care homes, schools and other high risk settings
  • local testing and contact tracing
  • supporting vulnerable people
