The Pre-School Network was established in June 2014 to

• enable collaborative working
• provide support; share best practice
• share information
• problem solve
• provide joint training opportunities
• offer peer on peer support and
• feedback from LA meetings, forums, training and events.

The aim of the network is to keep its members informed through participation and information sharing and to enhance and develop knowledge and skills related to the statutory framework for the EYFS and its implementation in Waltham Forest.

Membership

Membership is restricted to Ofsted registered, voluntary sector registered charity preschool settings in the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

How often does the network meet?

The network meets six times per academic year in September, November, January, March, May and July.

There is a small number of partnership groups already formed across the borough however it is important to ensure that all EYs providers set up or join an existing partnership group either based on geographical and/or thematic areas.
