Join Waltham Forest Mental Health Support team to help with the transitioning of year 6 to secondary school. This virtual one hour session is for parents/carers of year six students. Please share with the families you work with.
SEND Careers Fair
The SEND fair aims to raise the aspirations of SEND students by offering them career opportunities and enhance their employability skills.
It is an invaluable opportunity for students to explore various career paths, connect with potential employers, and learn about the support services available to them. The careers fair is aimed at KS4/KS5 students with post 16/18 options.
By attending you will:
· have access to a diverse range of employers, providers, and services which cater to the varied interests and needs of SEND students
· Discover a range of apprenticeships and work experience opportunities.
· Find out about careers support available for your school.
· Develop links with employers who work with SEND schools.
Our North SEND Careers fair will be at Waltham Forest College, 707 Forest Road, Waltham Forest E17 4JB. The fair will be open for schools to book a timeslot to manage attendance.
Please book one slot only for your school. A maximum of 15 students will be able to attend from each school.
Once a slot has been booked, your Enterprise Coordinator will be in touch with further details. Please be specific if you would like parking at the college.
