Governor training: How to Recruit and Retain Black Governors Across School Governing Bodies

Virtual Session, 6pm- 7.30pm

This training session will focus on the reasons why diversity is good for school governing bodies
and how Chairs, Governors and Heads can proactively recruit and retain Black representation.

 

  • To provide information on what schools can do now to make a change
  • To understand the positive impact that young governors can have on the overall effectiveness of governing boards and succession planning

This session will revisit the preparation needed for OFSTED inspections, in relation to your CEIAG offer. We will look at:

  • How the inspection framework has changed and what you need to know about it
  • the practical implications for CEIAG and how to use the 3 - i model 
  • practical actions you should take to prepare for an inspection of your CEIAG

Festival Of Creativity And Recovery In The Early Years

This exciting four day virtual early years festival will focus on 'Creativity and Recovery in the Early Years'. There will be a wide range of keynote speakers to support Early Years practitioners in further understanding and developing children's explorations in line with implementing a Recovery Curriculum. 

Participants will find out more about how best to support children’s emotional well-being, as well as their own. There will be opportunities to learn, develop new knowledge, gain new ideas and ask questions.
