Waltham Forest Holiday Activity and Food Programme – Winter Activities

Waltham Forest Holiday Activity and Food Programme will be running a wide range of free activities from Monday 20 December 2021 to Thursday 23 December 2021 for children aged five to 16 years old. This is a targeted programme for children who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals (FSM).

The letter and flyer have been sent directly to all families with children eligible for FSM, however we would be grateful if you could share the information with your FSM eligible families and encourage them to book and attend the activities taking place.

This winter there is a wide range of fun activities, including attending a panto, winter cooking classes, film and magic day at Fellowship square and other exciting opportunities to learn and develop skills, alongside a nutritious meal each day. All provision will need to be booked in advance via www.walthamforest.gov.uk/holidays which allows the programme to be searched by age range and activity type.

If you have any questions or would like to find out more, please contact Fern Edwards, Education Enrichment Project Manager, via email fern.edwards@walthamforest.gov.uk or on 07854 268 393.

Many thanks for supporting us to promote this programme, which is a key part of the Council’s Vulnerable Children’s Action Plan.
