Waltham Forest Holiday Activity and Food Programme – Summer Activities

Waltham Forest Holiday Activity and Food Programme will be running a wide range of free activities from Monday 26 July 2021 to Friday 20 August for children aged 5 to 16 years old. Children will be able to attend free enrichment holiday activities as well as access a hot meal daily.

This is a targeted programme for children who are in receipt of benefit related free school meals (FSM) and children felt to be vulnerable.

A letter and flyer have been sent directly to all families with children eligible for FSM, however we would be grateful if you could share the information with your FSM eligible families and families you feel may have vulnerability over the summer holiday period.

To increase the likeliness of attendance we are looking for parents to sign their children up themselves rather than by referral and so we would request that you support families to do this and encourage them to attend the wide range of activities on offer.

All provision will need to be booked in advance which allows the programme to be searched by age range and activity type. This, and further information about the summer offer for under 5s and Young Carers, can be found on www.walthamforest.gov.uk/holidays.
