Live interviews plus Q&As with Waltham Forest creatives on Zoom plus on demand tutorialsÂ
During National Careers Week, the Waltham Forest Cultural Education Partnership is offering the following free events for students interested in creative career pathways.  There will be three live online interviews with Waltham Forest creatives with a chance to ask questions plus a two part on demand creative careers' tutorial.Â
Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge and the Careers Service are collaborating to host activities for local school students. Further information and booking links below:

Tuesday 2Â March 2021 at 4pm-4:45pm -Â Waltham Forest teachers & careers advisers - supporting students with competitive applications
Looking to support students with making competitive applications to top Universities like Oxford and Cambridge? We’re excited to be running an advisors support session for Waltham Forest Teachers and Careers Advisors where there’ll be a presentation outlining the Oxbridge applications process and the key things we will look for in an applicant, along with advice on reference writing and supporting subject exploration. The presentation will be followed by a few minutes to answer questions you may have about supporting students with the applications process. Are you in Year 12 and interested in making a competitive application to study at the University of Cambridge? Come along to this virtual event hosted by Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge where you’ll be given support with choosing a course and College; along with Personal Statement, Admissions Assessment and Interview top tips. Following the presentation, you will have the opportunity to discuss in small subject related groups what you can do now to explore your subject and engage critically with subject material.
