National Apprenticeship Week 3-7 February

Local authority schools can utilise the borough's apprenticeship levy. Apprenticeship levels progress from level three to seven (degree level), this is a perfect opportunity to support the development of both teaching and non-teaching employees. With a variety of apprenticeships there’s one for most employees.
Apprentices can be new employees or up-skilling existing employees. The council work closely with the National Education College (NEC) training provider.
NEC deliver bespoke apprenticeships that focus on school’s priorities.
- Apprenticeship Team, Opportunities for Young People - Wednesday 5 February at Queens Road Learning Centre 1.30-3pm.
The council apprenticeship team have a range of opportunities in childcare, customer services, administration & teaching assistants. Come along to our information & recruitment session
- Apprenticeship Open Event - Wednesday 5 February at Leytonstone School 4-6pm.
