Monitoring vulnerable children – Safeguarding in Education – COVID 19

The Safeguarding in Education Service continues to provide a responsive service.  Consultations, support and guidance is available for all Schools and Early Years Settings.  We have developed addendum safeguarding policies for Schools and Early Years Settings in response to Government guidance and will continue to develop such polices and guidance as required along with the dissemination of safeguarding information via the weekly newsletter and the Hub.

We are continuing to provide DSL and Safer Recruitment training which will be delivered via video conferencing.  DSL forums will also be delivered via video conferencing.  For dates and to book  training, visit the WF Traded Services website.

The Safeguarding in Education Service continues to maintain weekly contact with open Early Years Ofsted registered providers, providing information, advice and support.

Group and individual supervision sessions are available, this can take place via a video conference call.  On-site visits are also available upon request.
