Competition: A creative opportunity for students!

Calling young people aged 11 to 19 who live or attend school in Waltham Forest! The council want young people to tell them about the world they live in! 

The answer could be a:

  • 60 second film
  • short story
  • poem or rap
  • a drawing a photo of a model, showing the world you want to live in

This could be how young people imagine what their borough could look in one hundred, two hundred or ten thousand years' time! It can be answered in any way they want as it can be uploaded to the council's website, the limit is their limitless imagination! 

There will be a gift card prize awarded to the most original and thought -provoking entries. 

First Prize: £100

Second Prize x2: £50

Third Prize x3: £25  

How students can submit their answers? 

To enter, send entries by email to Sharon Trotter.

If files are larger than 20MB, students can send their answer by WeTransfer: 

  1. Go to wetransfer.com
  2. Click and Add File and open computer where the file is located
  3. Click on “Email to” and add wfculture@walthamforest.gov.uk don’t forget to tell us your age and the name of your school or college.
  4. Click on “Transfer”
